Recommended safari company and driver in Uganda
I'm no fan of organised tours, but sometimes you don't really have a choice. I recently (and somewhat reluctantly!) took responsibility for arranging a visit to Uganda by email from the UK. I chose Afri Tours and Travel after a recommendation in Lonely Planet's East Africa guidebook.
I really shouldn't have worried and am very happy to say that we had a fantastic trip, and can thoroughly recommend Afri Tours and Travel. Our driver, Ahmed, was superb, a true King of the Road and rightly proud of his place at the top of the Ugandan road traffic food chain. He was great company and Afri Tours and Travel kept in touch during the trip to ensure everything was going well. All in all, excellent.
